Westdrive Kia awarded European Platinum dealer
Westdrive Kia, has been awarded Kia Motors 'Platinum Dealership' status within its network of over 170 UK dealers for the third time.
The car manufacturer's Platinum Dealership status was awarded to the car retailer following a review of stringent criteria based on new car sales, customer satisfaction and overall dealer excellence; in which Westdrive Kia excelled, offering the local motorists of Braintree a great experience when visiting the dealership.
The award ceremony was attended by Dealer Principal Andy Phillips in Lisbon back in December where the Platinum Dealers were announced. There are only 30 Platinum Dealers in Europe, which means Westdrive will sit within the top 3% of Kia dealerships Europe-wide after being awarded Platinum Dealership status. The nomination highlighted the team's results and good work as well as the dealership's prestige.
Andy Phillips, Dealer Principal at Westdrive commented on receiving the accolade: "We are extremely proud to have been awarded Platinum Dealer status - the standard of Kia dealers in the UK is very high so this is high praise for our team. We always try to go beyond the call of duty with every aspect of what we do ensuring the highest possible customer satisfaction and it is great to be recognised for doing this."

Westdrive Kia, have been named one of the top dealerships not just in the UK, but across the whole of Europe! Westdrive were pitted against 1,700 Kia dealers across the European network and came out on top to win prestigious platinum dealer status. Jason Westwood, Managing Director collected the award at the Europe-wide Kia Dealer Excellence Awards ceremony in Vienna recently.
Westdrive were judged on three different criteria: customer satisfaction, sales of both new and used cars and their overall dealer excellence, which is a combination of the former two factors along with the franchise standards which Kia agrees with the dealer to ensure uniformity across the network.
Proving they have what it takes and can successfully balance both high sales and high levels of customer satisfaction, Westdrive were pitted against approximately 1,700 dealers across Europe, and were just one of four dealers in the UK, and one of 30 overall, to be classed as a Platinum dealer.
Jason Westwood explains the significance of the platinum status: "It’s fantastic to have been recognised not only for our hard work in selling cars, but through our customer satisfaction results as well. The awards are based on real customer feedback, and so everyone who has bought a Kia over the past year has been a judge for these awards, it’s not some faceless panel, which is what makes this platinum status all the more important to us."
