Managing Director, Jason Westwood and Chairman of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd, Mr S.I. Lee officially opened the new Dealership on 11th March 2004 and since opening as a Kia franchise we have become one of the largest retailers of Kia vehicles in the network.

The purpose built air conditioned dealership on a 1.6 acre plot which has over 150 Used All Make vehicles on site, has the largest choice of new and used cars in the South East.

Westdrive Kia named as Platinum Status dealer

Westdrive Kia, have been named one of the top dealerships not just in the UK, but across the whole of Europe! Westdrive were pitted against 1,700 Kia dealers across the European network and came out on top to win prestigious platinum dealer status. Jason Westwood, Managing Director collected the award at the Europe-wide Kia Dealer Excellence Awards ceremony in Vienna recently.

Westdrive were judged on three different criteria: customer satisfaction, sales of both new and used cars and their overall dealer excellence, which is a combination of the former two factors along with the franchise standards which Kia agrees with the dealer to ensure uniformity across the network.

Proving they have what it takes and can successfully balance both high sales and high levels of customer satisfaction, Westdrive were pitted against approximately 1,700 dealers across Europe, and were just one of four dealers in the UK, and one of 30 overall, to be classed as a Platinum dealer.

Jason Westwood explains the significance of the platinum status: “It’s fantastic to have been recognised not only for our hard work in selling cars, but through our customer satisfaction results as well. The awards are based on real customer feedback, and so everyone who has bought a Kia over the past year has been a judge for these awards, it’s not some faceless panel, which is what makes this platinum status all the more important to us.”
