Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Used Vehicle Stock Coordinator to join our busy dealership team. This is a varied and hands-on role that is essential to the smooth operation and presentation of our used vehicle stock. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are accurately appraised, professionally presented, correctly located within the compound, and prepared to the highest standards for retail sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Photographing used vehicles using our purpose-built photography booth
- Checking in and appraising used vehicles with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Managing and coordinating external cosmetic repair suppliers carrying out onsite localised repairs
- Ensuring all vehicles are correctly located and managed within the compound
- Monitoring vehicle movements and maintaining accurate stock records
- Supporting the sales operation by ensuring vehicles are presented in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining high standards of organisation across the used vehicle preparation process
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is not essential
- Any experience in vehicle appraisal or automotive stock management would be advantageous
- Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Requirements
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
