The Kia PV5 Chassis Cab delivers the E-GMP.S platform as an open-rear chassis — ready for factory or aftermarket conversion into box vans, dropside trucks, refrigerated bodies, mobile workshops and more. With up to 995 kg payload and 217 miles of Long Range capability, it’s the most versatile and highest-payload PV5 in the range.
Available with either the Standard Range 51.4 kWh or Long Range 71.2 kWh battery, providing 155 or 217 miles of WLTP range respectively. The Long Range variant offers the highest payload of any PV5 at 995 kg — suitable for most light commercial applications.
Kia has established a dedicated conversion production line at the Hwaseong EVO Plant, enabling factory-built conversions including box van, dropside and freezer box bodies — all under the full Kia warranty. Alternatively, the Chassis Cab can be delivered as an unfinished vehicle for conversion by specialist body builders. The flat E-GMP.S skateboard floor makes it one of the most upfitter-friendly electric chassis available.
