The Mazda MX-5 Roadster is the world's best-selling two-seat sports car, combining a lightweight rear-wheel drive chassis, naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G engines and an iconic soft-top roof that drops in seconds. This is driving as it was always meant to be.
The MX-5 is available with two naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G petrol engines. The free-revving 1.5-litre unit produces 132ps — featherlight and perfectly matched to the car's 1,000kg kerb weight. The 2.0-litre produces 184ps for those who want a sharper edge.
Both engines drive the rear wheels through a crisp six-speed manual gearbox — no automatics, no shortcuts. A Kinematic Posture Control system subtly applies the inside rear brake mid-corner to reduce body roll and sharpen turn-in, making every bend feel effortlessly precise.
2.0-litre models also feature a new Asymmetric Limited Slip Differential, Bilstein dampers and a front strut brace as standard — plus a DSC track mode for those who want to explore the chassis on circuit.

Radar-based system monitors the adjacent lanes and alerts you when a vehicle enters your blind spot, with an additional warning when indicating to change lanes.
When reversing, alerts you to vehicles approaching from either side — particularly useful in car parks and tight spaces where visibility is limited.
Monitors the road markings and alerts the driver with a visual and audible warning if the car begins to drift from its lane without signalling.
