Westdrive Mazda Braintree has confirmed the arrival of the all-new Mazda CX-5, the third generation of Mazda's best-selling SUV, now available to view, test drive and order at the dealership.

The all-new CX-5 is offered across four trim levels - Prime-Line, Centre-Line, Exclusive-Line and Homura - with prices starting from £31,550 OTR and rising to £40,950 OTR for the range-topping Homura specification. Every version is powered by a new 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv G petrol engine paired with Mazda's M Hybrid mild-hybrid system and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The mild-hybrid system uses a 24-volt lithium-ion battery to capture energy that would otherwise be lost under braking, using it to assist the petrol engine and power onboard electrics. It is not a plug-in system, so there is no need to charge the car from an external source. The engine produces 141PS and 238Nm of torque, with a combined fuel economy of up to 40.4mpg on front-wheel-drive models.
Front-wheel drive is standard across the range, with Mazda's i-Active all-wheel-drive system available as an option on Exclusive-Line and Homura models. Front-wheel-drive versions accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 10.5 seconds, while all-wheel-drive models take 10.9 seconds, with combined fuel economy of 38.2mpg.
For the first time in a Mazda, the CX-5 comes with Google built-in, giving drivers access to Google Maps, the Google Assistant and the Google Play Store directly through the car's centre display. Standard cars are fitted with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, while Homura models gain a larger 15.6-inch display. Exclusive-Line and Homura grades also include a 12-speaker Bose sound system as standard.
Prime-Line, from £31,550 OTR, is the entry point into the new CX-5 range, with a strong standard specification including the full technology suite. Centre-Line builds on this with additional comfort and convenience features for customers who want a little more as standard.
Exclusive-Line adds the option of all-wheel drive and the 12-speaker Bose sound system, while Homura, from £40,950 OTR, sits at the top of the range with the largest 15.6-inch display, the fullest specification and the option of all-wheel drive.
